I will travel to and officiate your ceremony at just about any venue you can come up with. I love when you choose something authentic to yourselves, and I do my best to support you in that. Some of my previous venues have included: various event and conference centers; gazebos; historic buildings; parks; outside in the forest on the bride's family land; the Shelby Street Pedestrian Bridge; standing in the shallows of a beautiful creek; the Schermerhorn Symphony Center; many beautiful backyards and front porches throughout Nashville and the surrounding area, the beaches and resorts of Kauai, Hawaii; and an old stone sheep barn in Wisconsin (check out the photo of this on the 'about us' page, it was beautiful)!

I started out officiating wedding ceremonies for a couple of years in Wisconsin, then Hawaii, and have now serviced Nashville, Tennessee and the surrounding areas since early 2010! My style is very professional, yet laid back. I like to be friendly and flexible and put my brides and grooms at ease. Your wedding is a ceremony meant to express your love for each other. It should be personal, and it should be a reflection of the two of you. I have many different sample ceremonies that you can choose from, and you are welcome to make any changes you wish. Many couples choose to leave them 'as is', while some "cut and paste'' some parts from one and some parts from another. The ceremonies range from spiritual to secular and anywhere in between. You are welcome to use whatever wording suits your belief systems if you choose a spiritual ceremony. I am very open minded and here to support you and your beliefs in this most sacred event in your life. You are also free to: write your own vows, bring me a poem, or to incorporate one of many other symbolic touches into your ceremony. (Unity candle, sand ceremony, etc.) If you'd like a completely customized ceremony, I can do that too for a bit extra.

Your ceremony wording is your choice, and you will always see a final copy for your approval before the wedding. Honorarium fees include one free in-person meeting (if desired), as well as unlimited e-mail and phone planning support, and filing of your marriage license (please note that I cannot obtain your license for you, I only file it for you). In Tennessee you can receive a discount on your marriage license fee if you attend four hours of pre-marital counseling with a qualified provider.
